Digital Inclusion Research Forum planned for NetHui 2019
A Digital Inclusion Research Forum is to be held at Te Papa in Wellington on Day Zero of NetHui, Wednesday 2 October 2019. This provides an opportunity for digital inclusion researchers to come together, find out what others are doing and identify opportunities for collaboration.
A special focus of the Forum will be on the Department of Internal Affair’s recently released Digital Inclusion Research Agenda and the opportunities this creates for researchers to contribute to the national digital inclusion agenda.
The Forum is being developed by a group of InternetNZ members with an interest in digital inclusion, including Laurence Zwimpfer and Barbara Craig from DIAA, Prof Miriam Lips from Victoria University of Wellington and Dr Ravi Sharma from Canterbury University. Anyone interested in participating in Forum as a presenter should contact Laurence or Barbara. People attending the two day NetHui event (3-4 October) can register through the NetHui website. Others should contact Shelley at DIAA.
